Shipping & Sales Tax
We process all orders promptly upon receipt. Listed in the chart shown below are our shipping charges. Please note that we charge the actual shipping costs on orders without premiums. You will receive an email notification with a tracking number if you elect the express delivery option (other tracking numbers available on request). Please note that it might take longer during peak seasons to process and ship the orders. In the event that an item is out of stock, or requires a longer lead time, you will receive an email notification from A Special Treasure informing you about the delay.
Ground Shipping
Ground takes 2-7 business days IN ADDITION to the time it takes to physically package and ship your order (hand over to the carrier). 3rd Day Shipping takes 3 full business days to arrive after shipment. 2nd Day Shipping takes 2 full business days to arrive after shipment. Overnight Shipments will arrive the next business day. Business days do NOT include saturdays or sundays. No shipments are made saturdays or sundays. Saturday delivery is available on certain items at extra charge and on special requests only (contact a representative to see if it's available).
'Ships in: field next to each product is the time to physically package and submit the package over to the carrier. It does not include the actual travel time it takes to get to your door. The travel time is dependent on several factors such as the distance between you and the warehouse and/or the shipping method you selected i.e. ground, 2nd day, overnight.
How to return, replace or exchange an item :
If you'd like to return a product, please contact a customer service representative first . Please send an email to: customerservice@aspecialtreasure.com to get return authorization. Items must be in original resalable condition.
You have the following choices when you decide to return any shipment:
Refund - total refund minus any shipping costs (Prorated refund for shipping charges if an item is broken or damaged.). Please allow 3 working days for processing
Replacement - we will ship the replacement within 3 working days.
Credit - we will issue you a gift certificate for the amount, and you'll be able to redeem it at any time.
We are unable to offer you any form of refund after 30 days.
Damaged Items
If any item arrived damaged, you must hold onto the package as is and contact one of our customer service representatives immediately. Our customer service representative will notify the carrier and follow their procedures to claim damage insurance automatically applied to every shipment on certain carriers like UPS and FedEx. It is your responsibility to make sure you hold onto any damaged items long enough should the carrier wish to inspect the damage. If you elected a carrier that does not offer any damage compensation (including lost package), you will not be eligible for any claims. Therefore, it is encouraged that you pay a little extra for this type of insurance in case this situation arises.
If the carrier issues a refund, you will be credited for the purchase. However, the carrier must approve and issue any refunds before a replacement or credit can be issued to you. They may or may not require a visual verification of damaged goods as per their policy.
